SoFair Farms has a modest mission; create a small eco-village living in harmony with its

environment and neighbors. The 20-acres of farm and lots, located just south of Fairfield and Route 34, is just beautiful. The perfect marriage of climate, rolling lands, local community, and abundant on-site and off-site resources work together setting the tone for a great community. The plan is well designed using permaculture principles and intelligent community land planning for small homes.

The purpose of SoFair Farms is the creation, building and on-going promotion of mixed-use environmentally designed community where residents live in proximity with a working organic farm. As a model for sustainable living, SoFair Farm’s goal is to create a community that is both ecologically and socially enriching. Plans for the greater farm are comprised of working gardens, integrated animal systems, orchards, ponds & natural features. Nurseries, bee garden, market garden and greenhouse are all planned. In essence, we are building an engaging, creatively productive neighborhood, safe and enjoyable for the entire family.

Only 10 homesites for Tiny houses on foundations are planned, and we have a section for 5 pond-side locations for Tiny Houses on Wheels (THOWS) offering rentals short or long term… come for a visit and stay for a while. We encourage those looking for Tiny House support in design, construction, testing the lifestyle, as well as your own sensibilities...
